Business Development Project Phases
While no two projects are the same, YDM identifies 4 typical phases in most China business development processes.
At each phase, various tasks are carried out to yield the agreed deliverables which in turn serve as input for the next phase.
Milestones are identified between phases to validate the commitment of management further into the project.
STRATEGY FOMULATION
Clarify the strategic goals by identifying possible scenarios and options
SOLUTION DEVELOPMENT
Defining solution scope and operational processes which serves as a blueprint for further execution. Typically, this phase is concluded with a go-no go decision for future cooperation or investment commitment
OPERATION IMPLEMENTATION
Work is carried out to set up the business, using the solution developed in the previous phase as a blueprint
POST IMPLEMENTATION CARE
Fine-tuning or harmonization of the procedures and systems to harvest the benefit of cooperation
